Route 66 - Monroe's 66 Diner

In Pacific, Missouri, Monroe's 66 Diner opened in the
early 1940's and served Route 66 travelers for 60 years

until it closed in 2005.

It re-opened in May, 2012 as the Down South Cafe
under new ownership.

It now serves American, Cajun, and Creole food.
In season, it even serves alligator!
