Route 66 - Baxter Springs, Kansas

Cruisin' Route 66 through Baxter Springs, Kansas.

At the historic Baxter Drug Store

Inside the old Phillips 66 gas station built in the early 1940's.
It is on the National Register of Historical Places and
has now been converted into a visitor center.

The very nice lady in the Visitor Center really liked Boofle!

Route 66 - Frozen Custard & a Visitor Center

Traveling Route 66 in St. Louis, Boofle stopped at 
6726 Chippewa St. for a concrete milkshake at Ted Drewes 
Frozen Custard.  Locals and Route 66 travelers have 
been purchasing frozen treats at this site since 1941


After leaving St. Louis, Boofle stopped in Eureka to tour the
Route 66 State Park Visitor Center

Inside the Visitor Center were all kinds of
Route 66 memorabilia
